Warbreaker

The plot for me was very deep and complicated I think a little to complicated for the time frame that we needed to read it in. the story of two sisters and that one is to be married to a god so that Idris can have enough time to secure his defenses if the god decides to attack. he instead sends his youngest to Siri. Then its a journey of Vivenna trying to save Siri from her fate.  I mean I love fantasy novels as much as the next guy, but when a book gets this involved I get lost, and I also can't really start to believe it. Theirs nothing tangible in the novel that I can relate to, and maybe thats the appeal for some that really enjoy these novels. Its so out there. It's for these reason mostly, that keeps me away from most fantasy novels. I think stories like the golden compass and Harry Potter have these dementions that slowly bring you into the fantasy, so that the reader can start to get involved into the story and can realty at some level.

The Graveyard

The Grave yard. I kinda had a hard time with his one. The story kept jumping around which was a little difficult, but all in all it was ok.  After the young boy. Nobody enters the grave yard he is then brought up by the dead, which I found to be a very interesting concept to push a story. Its like a story where a young child is bring brought up by there grandparents or aunt or uncle, theres that disconnect because there not really your parents. Of course these is brought to a whole new level that really pushes the concept further.
